After conducting market and consumer study, we gather the information and do ideation, we try to generate something that can satisfy what consumers wants, furthermore we did the feasibility to check and research if our idea is practical. After we have finalized our concept, we are here to "check" if what we generate meets the consumers requirement.
Concept Acceptance is one of the most important part in food product development, because through this study we are able to know the status of our product and what are consumers perception towards our product, this is to prevent us from wasting time and money to create a not acceptable failure product.
We have invited 5 respondents to join our interview for concept acceptance study. Interview is basically a conversation between two person, which we the are the interviewer and the respondents are the interviewee and we get responds or feedback from them. Among this 5 respondents there are students and people from working class, besides they have different background, this is to collect a more wider feedback.
One of our respondents is from the working class, besides she is also a mother with 3 kids, she gives us responses on what she feel as a working women and a mother. As a working women she will like our product as she is busy working and would like something convenient, however as a mother she would not buy our product as she thinks it is unhealthy for her kids and she would prefer cooking for her kids.
Besides, we also invited students from different background. One of our student respondent is from culinary background and we seek to get professional culinary responds of our product. On the other hand, the other student respondent is a frequent RTE consumer (our major target group), she gives us a lot of useful feedback and opinion which can help us improve our product .
Through concept acceptance, we found that there are some weaknesses that we did realize but respondents stated it up, besides, we also get opinions on how to market our product.
